Fly First flies home in level 1 handicap! (24.05.2015)

Six-year-old Fly First romped home in the 22,500 Euro LONGINA-Rennen on highest handicap level in Berlin-Hoppegarten today. After 1,400 meters the Big Shuffle-son was 1 1/2 lengths ahead of rivals Jackobo (E. Pedroza/U. Stech) and longshot Agama (F.F. da Silva/F. Kurz). Jockey Andrasch Starke was in the saddle for Haus Ittlingen.

Earlier in the day, Adlerflug-daughter Alandia finished a strong second in her life debut in a race for fillies and mares over 2,200 meters under jockey Andrasch Starke. Alandia is out of the Lando-mare Alanda and a sister to the Australia-trained group horse Araldo (High Chaparral) and group 1 winner and long distance specialist Altano (Galileo).
