| What a sunny day this was for our stud! Following victories by Lindaro and Lovelyn, three-year-old Romance Story must have decided that she, too, wants to be part of the Ittlingen party at Hamburg racetrack today — and she sure followed the lovely Lovelyn in style. The New Approach-daughter recorded her second win in a row for us taking a level 2 handicap over 1,600 meters with an enormous blast of late speed down the stretch. In the end, she nosed out Foolproof (N. Richter/ T. Potters) and Culdaff (A. de Vries/ W. Figge) to end an amazingly successful raceday for our stud. Once again, Andrasch Starke was aboard, this time for trainer Waldemar Hickst. |
