Lucky Speed not very lucky in Northern Dancer (13.09.2015)
 
Back in our colors, Lucky Speed’s outing in the group 1 Norhtern Dancer Turf Stakes was not under a lucky star tonight. The field at Woodbine racetrack did not generate much pace over 2,400 meters and, stuck to the rails, Lucky Speed was trapped and found no racing room entering the last turn, so he could not generate his usual speed down the home stretch. Nevertheless, he finished fourth under German jockey Andrasch Starke.
