Whether it was due to the rising temperatures or the time change and the resulting prolonged sun exposure during the days we will never know, but it's a fact that by end of March things all of a sudden turned really busy at our stables. Within six days, we had eight foal births that kept our team on their toes.
ALANDIA (Adlerflug) foaled a fine chestnut filly by Lord of England and only the following day ATIARA folled suit. She too delivered a chestnut filly. Sire here is Adlerflug. It was also a filly for G3-placed LABRICE out of our top mare LAURELLA, who foaled after the two-time German champion sire Soldier Hollow. The very successful ENJOY THE LIFE (Medicean), who we own in partnership with Sebastian Weiss, delivered a colt by Sea The Moon. The new arrival is a full brother to the Listed winner ENJOY THE MOON (title photo) and a brother to the 2017 Derby-second ENJOY VIJAY as well as ECCO, who has been making a name for himself in the past half year on group level over hurdles in the UK. |
