Former Ittlingen runner SOUND great second in G3 Lexus Hotham Stakes (31.10.2020)
 
The G3 Lexus Hotham Stakes at Flemington were the last chance to qualify for a starting place in the 8 million AUSD Melbourne Cup. Also in the starting gates amongst the hopefuls was former Ittlinger runner SOUND for a run in the AUSD 200,000 race over 2500m. And the full brother to LACCARIO's sire SCALO showed a great performance but narrowly missed the win after a thrilling finish. Jamie Kah was in the saddle of the seven-year-old for trainer Michael Moroney.
