While the eight-year-old had nothing to hold against the confident winner from the Czech Republic, Va Bank ((M. Seidl/M. Janikowski) but a placing behind the runner-up Potemkin (E. Pedroza/A. Wöhler) is well within his actual form. Andrasch Starke had the son of Felicity tugged away at the rails for most of the race and a speedy finish propelled them to a good third place after 2,000 m in this first group race of the Baden-Baden meet. |
