ARALDO JUNIOR scores at Listed level Down Under (16.07.2017)

Yesterday, home-bred ARALDO JUNIOR triumphed in the feature race at Sunshine Coast's race card. The six-year-old took the Queensland Cup, a AUS$150,000 Listed race over 3200 m easily by three lengths. Michael Cahill was aboard the gelding, who is in training with Michael Moroney for owners syndicate R. & C. Legh Racing Pty Ltd. who already owned the gelding's older brother, top-stayer ARALDO. Both are products of Ittlingen's former top mare ALANDA, who is also responsible for G1 winner ALTANO. Araldo Junior was originally named Aldo but was renamed after his big brother's success for the owners.
