Even the outer gate, a restless trip and a near-fall in the final turn could not keep the colt out of our Medicean-mare ENJOY THE LIFE from showing what he is made of. Strictly taken off the pace by Andrasch Starke, ENJOY THE MOON came weaving down the final stretch from the back of the pack and despite an interruption at the 400 m marker fought gamely to record a well-deserved second place after 2200 m. |
